The Lubrizol Additive Plant in Zhuhai, China is the company’s new crown jewel of Asia is protected by Sherwin-Williams coatings.

A world class facility to produce specialty chemicals in Zhuhai was to be the crown jewel of the Asian infrastructure for Lubrizol. The near coastal facility and harsh operating environment meant that a coating solution that could withstand extreme temperatures and usage was required.

Sherwin-Williams was successful after a rigorous selection process coming out on top on technical quality of the products and the expertise and servicing ethos of the on-site team. Sherwin-Williams used Zinc Clad 76, Epoxy MIO 2000, Acrolon 890 and Epo-phen to coat the plant’s steel structures, vessels and other infrastructure.
