Petrobras FPSO Accomodation Units

Petrobras specified Dura-Plate 301 for its new FPSOs

Petrobras selected the environmentally responsible Dura-Plate 301 products for its FPSO project because of its performance and high solids content.  Ecovix won the contract for the Petrobras FPSOs.   Ecovix sub-contracted the building and painting of the accomodation units to COSCO Shanghai.

This is the first time COSCO Shanghai and Sherwin-Williams used waterjetting in surface preparation for a new building project.  These eight accomodation units will take over three years to complete and approximately 200,000 liters of Dura-Plate 301.
