Newmont Nusa Tenggara

Newmont Nusa Tenggara (PTNNT) copper mine was operating for over a decade and faced extensive corrosion problems due to the harsh mining environment and its proximity to the Indian Ocean. In 2009-2010 Newmont Nusa Tenggara renovated the entire mill house, a structure that included everything from the roof the building, pipes, and conveyor belt.

Products used: Seaguard 5000, Sherglass FF and Sherthane. The high solids system was selected based on excellent performance and adhesion in harsh industrial environments that require outstanding impact resistance.
